Order Streets is a one-stop solution for all types of ice creams, frozen foods and more in Australia and New Zealand. Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) wanted a platform focused on centralising distribution, sales and retail management within one functional and B2B friendly, eCommerce website.

Project outline

During the pandemic, it is harder for businesses to stock up on the Ice-creams when needed. Going directly to big box stores was not easy and, they don't have a plethora of options to choose from. Unilever wanted to create a B2B eCommerce website to solve this. The brief was to do user research and develop user stories. Based on the user research, we were to design the logo, branding, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes as deliverables.

Challenges

Unilever has a network of sales reps, distributors and retailers who have different intents while visiting this eCommerce website. Distributors are the middle man, supplying the local retailers with the products required, add/remove new retailers, manage inventory and generate timely sales reports for Unilever.

Exploration & Refinements

We started our research by checking similar B2B websites built for other markets, found commonalities and started developing our user stories. Identified the core differences between each user roles and made specific user stories to cover all the necessary functionalities. There were technical constraints and a very short timeline of 6 weeks to hand over to the development team. We worked on weekly design sprints to create the priority screens, get stakeholder approvals and sign off from the global team every week.

The feedback from the Global Team on regards the provided designs have been great and they are saying that has been the best ones seen so far through the different markets, so we are really happy with the work that has been done and support provided.
